In Dynamics we introduce definition of forces and relate these forces to acceleration of the object. The main laws of dynamis are three Newton's laws, where the second Newton's law is the most practical one. This law introduces the relation between the acceleration of the object and the net force acting on the object.
The main questions we need to address in dynamics are following:
- "what is the condition of equilibrium of the object?";
- "what is the acceleration of the object".
The most difficult part in dynamics is to identify all forces acting on the object. The main forces are:
- normal force
- static friction
- kinetic friction
- tension force
- spring force
After the forces are defined, we need to apply the Newton's law to solve the problem.
